There is some bu-z-zzz-zz out there. If you have not heard Secret Life Of Bees by Sue Monk-Kidd will be coming out in theatres in October. Queen Latifah will be casted as August. We read the book this month and enjoyed it. We tried to figure who would be cast as whom. Well we were wrong we did not picture Queen Latifah as August. You can view the trailer here.
A new book that hit the shelves this summer, and people are buzzing about this book as the best debut this summer In her rave review in today's New York Times, Janet Maslin calls The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, by David Wroblewski, the "most enchanting debut of the summer."
